Superstock 600 lead for Knox riders at Thruxton

Continuing its excellent start to its first season in the British Junior Superstock 600 motorcycling racing category, the new KNOX protected AP Kawasaki Racing Team came away from the second round at Thruxton on Sunday 18 April with the championship lead. Despite qualifying a lowly 12th on the grid as a result of technical problems, Matt Bilton from West Yorkshire, the team's 20-year-old star rider carved through the pack to fourth place, finishing 2^nd after Russo and Coates crashed two laps from the end. The result gives Bilton a 15-point lead in the championship. The British Superstock 600 series is one of the most hotly contested in the national motorcycle racing calendar with more than 70 young riders all keen to make their mark. The new AP Kawasaki Racing Team made a bold move by coming straight into it for 2010 with its three riders – Bilton, Freddie Russo (Brentwood, Essex) and Anthony Haywood (Chesterfield, Derbyshire).

Knox racers end season on a high note

KNOX protected racers have completed the 2009 season in top positions. First Alastair Seeley was crowned 2009 British Superstock Champion on the TAS Relentless Suzuki GSX-R1000. In British Superbikes James Ellison was runner up to Airwaves Yamaha teammate Leon Camier. Meanwhile in the Fuchs-Silkolene British Supersport Cup for 600cc machines Co-ordit Performance rider Sam Lowes (pictured) delivered the goods at the final round by taking all 25 points for the race win to secure the 2009 crown at Oulton Park.

Seeley takes the Knox to scoop 2009 Superstock title

Relentless Suzuki by TAS Racing's Alastair Seeley clinched the National 1000cc Superstock Championship title at Cadwell Park in Lincolnshire, havng taken win number nine of the season to maintain his one 100% record. Seeley puts his trust in Knox on road and track, competing not only in the British Superstock series but also in many Irish road races, where he has recorded six wins from six starts. He can also boast an outright circuit lap record at Kirkistown in Northern Ireland. Everyone at Knox congratulates Alastair on his achievement and we look forward to supporting him in future - maybe in British Superbikes?
